I received an Advanced Reader Copy from the author.This is a wonderful book that shows exactly what bad parenting looks like! As well as a romance that proves that communication is the key to love lasting, or even getting a foothold, in a relationship.
Tyler goes to Los Angeles based on a comment made by his absentee father when he was young. He wants to become an actor and since his dad is a director he's counting on him to help him break into the business. Unfortunately his dad is less than receptive to the idea.
Tyler's dad preys on his son's desire for success and arranges for him to work for Eric, an up and coming director, who has a copy of a screen test his wife made. This 'chance' encounter turns into much more and then the real fun starts!
You really have to read this book. The author has included a few angst ridden scenes, sexy scenes, twists in the action and one much needed set down. Through it all you'll enjoy the antics of Nova, the wonder dog!

I received an advance copy from the editor. This is a wonderful story of two men learning to trust each other. Tyler learns just what an oaf his father is and decides he doesn't need his father to help him get started in the movie world. Eric learns to get his alcoholic mother help. Together, they rise above it all. Eric becomes a director without any one's help.
Wonderful love story between Tyler and Eric.
I loved Tyler and Eric. I love how the author has these guys talking in their heads. I loved this book and all the drama that came with them becoming one and having their HEA. I most loved the end when Tyler's dad got his due. This author is fast becoming a favorite. She really knows how to write and keep the readers interest. look forward to more from her. I received and ARC and voluntarily read it for an honest review.
I enjoyed reading this book. I received an Advance Review Copy of this book from the author. Tyler was a lovable character. He wanted to be an actor so badly, even going so far as to steal footage from Eric's computer in order to please his father. However, with time he was able to really see that his father was very manipulative and had no respect for people. Tyler and Eric became very close friends and had a great relationship. I would recommend this book. JN
Tyler's father who is a famous movie producer talks his son into pretending to be a dog trainer. Eric figures out real quick that he's no dog trainer but the sparks between them are very real. So Eric decides to let him work with his dog Nova. Eric doesn't know the real reason for Tyler being there. For me this book is about two people falling in love. And over coming obstacles on their way to finding love.

I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book. I really enjoyed the storyline I rather liked the idea of Nova being a matchmaker dog. Tyler has an abnoxious absentee father in Anderson who's a producer and Eric who is a director working for Anderson. Tyler and Eric meet through unusual circumstances and it's instant chemistry between them with a bit of matchmaking from Nova. There are some funny moments, frustrating moments and steamy hot hot scenes makes this an easy to read story. I can honestly say I recommend this book.

I absolutely adored this book, from start to finish. Eric and Tyler were engaging and the insight into Hollywood's ups and downs was a delightful aspect that I was surprised to find as interesting as I did. I think Nova was (although it is kinda hard to outshine a puppy) the most adorable little schemer ever; a genuine Cupid in disguise. The trial and errors of Tyler and Eric's relationship, fraught with lies and the occasional undermining behavior gave them a more believable and realistic feel. I was even surprised by Eric's mother and the details the author spent time on to give her the most believable qualities.
Another wonderfully written novel from a talented author!
Tyler is an aspiring actor. The son of a prominent producer. They never have had a relationship but when Tyler asks for his help, his father turns him into a spy. He ends up meeting Eric posing as a dog trainer. Eric is an up and coming star. They hit it off inmediately but Eric doesn't do actors wannabes. He has enough to handle with his mom and his career. What he doesn't know is that he is in the middle of a plot for power. Interesting characters, a lot of drama, a drunken mom, a jerk of a father and a cute matchmaker dog. Eric, Tyler and Nova have the worst times before they can find their HEA. Had a great time reading it.
