My 3rd grade son loves the Shiloh series and greatly enjoyed this book. We were so glad Ms. Naylor wrote another book for this series. One thing I love about this series is that the stories take place during a time before electronics (iPads, Kindles) became a part of kids' lives. The main character, Marty, spends lots of time outdoors with his beloved Shiloh, in the West Virginia countryside. The way Marty grows up reminds me a bit of how I grew up. The Shiloh books give you a way to talk with your children about how previous generations grew up a bit differently. But the books are written so well, with lots of action and drama to keep your child interested. My son could not put any of the Shiloh books down and read them all very quickly.

Amazingly heartwarming. Didn't know quality stories of this type still existed.
My daughter hasn't put the book down since she started it. This is book 4 of 4 and she started with the first award winning Shilooh book. I fully recommend this series to any family.
My granddaughter loves this book. Especially since we have a beagle named shiloh!!!
My son had read all of the other Shiloh books and was so excited to find this new one. He read it very quickly and enjoyed it just as much as the others. This was a great continuation of the Shiloh books.
The Shiloh series really captured my daughter's heart. She read the 3 original stories and is saving this for December. The book was in excellent condition and shipped quickly. You can't go wrong with books!
Bought this series of 4 books for my grandson for his birthday in November. So far, he has read the first one and loaned it to a friend to read. He is now enjoying the second book of the series.
A Shiloh Christmas was another wonderful book in this series filled with love and hope and wonderful morals for both children and adults. Though purchased for my eight and eleven year olds, I started browsing the book and read it in an afternoon. I highly recommend this book and the entire Shiloh series!
